Our History:

City of Firsts Community Federal Credit Union, formerly known as Kokomo School Employees Federal Credit Union, was established in 1938 by Mr. Charles Franklin. As Kokomo School Employees FCU, we serviced the employees of Kokomo Consolidated School Corp. and its family members. In 2006, City of Firsts Community FCU received permission from the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) to offer membership to anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school or volunteers in Howard and Tipton Counties. The word "Community" was added to the name to better reflect our designation as a Community Credit Union. Assets now exceed $25 million, Shares exceed $22 million, and Loans to members, exceed $15 million. Our total membership now totals over 8000 members.
